Drishtee is a rural platform for developing overall self reliance of communities. Villages in India are facing a basic sustainability challenge, forcing migration of members of families to cities in search of livelihood. Drishtee encourages members, within these communities, to initiate livelihood generating activities in the form of micro enterprises. The enterprises produce, process and package food, textile and housing products within their villages. Drishtee goes on to provide an end to end support in the form of capacity building, credit linkage and market access, by leveraging partnerships. Working for the last 20 years, it has helped develop nearly 10,000 jobs in the villages. The reach spans out to more than 6000 villages across north and north-east India. It has challenged itself to generate another 60,000 rural livelihoods by 2021 through efficient utilization of available resources in villages.

HR: Team Swavlamban at Drishtee, Varanasi

1. Team recruitment support : to ensure that all the existing vacant positions as well as new ones created (due to evolving structure), are filled with appropriate manpower

2. Induction of team in Varanasi location : training of 1-2 Days: with HR manual details, expense and ERP login management, reporting, administrative processes, performance and overall Swavlamban, Values and Culture of Drishtee plus any refreshers if need be; organizing sessions with the team if specific and with overall team as per the profile; Introduction to the team, Other on-boarding support like email ID, account linkage, appointment letter, etc.

3. Values, Culture and internal connect related training and communication ; Creating a positive, collaborative and happy environment within the team

4. Team attendance, salaries and expenses processing support and all the HR related administrative mgt and Team HR file maintenance

5. Appraisals and performance and collaborative approach management of the teams : team based interactions to develop a learning profile and assessing capacity building needs of the team – Monthly basis

6. Supporting project activities as and when required (such as Coordinating with the team for their monthly reports)

7. Presenting Drishtee’s Sakhi- Swavlamban and MIRI concepts to the larger audience – institutions and corporates to engage with volunteers
